Every year NJHS students from Chapa put in additional hours outside of the school to meet their 20 hour minimum. We are very proud of the many ways we serve our school, our community, and the world.
NJHS is planning for another successful Chapa 5k this year on April 23, 2016.
We are also heavily participating in the 10th Anniversary Celebration of Chapa!!!
The Chapa Chapter of National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) induction ceremony was a huge success. For the second year in a row, we have more than doubled in size demonstrating how important scholarship, citizenship, leadership, service, and character are to many Chapa students. With the new inductees, we have currently have 153 active NJHS members at Chapa Middle School. Go Cougars!!!
The Chapa NJHS Chapter has decided to raise money to give water to third world countries. We will be selling water bottles that say Chapa middle school, best in the universe. We are very excited to start a new project! We had a special person donate 8 cases of 40 bottles of water. We're looking forward to having sport bottles donated as well as possibly more bottles of water.
